Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 1, 2026

Effective date: 2026-09-01 · Version 1

QuizNeu is a study tool, and studying should not depend on how you see, hear, move or read. This statement explains what we aim for, where we currently fall short, and how to tell us about a barrier you hit.

1. What we aim for

We work towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the reference standard for the app and the website, and towards the accessibility support built into each platform:

  • text that respects your system font size, including large accessibility sizes;
  • screen-reader labels on controls, images and study cards (VoiceOver on iOS, TalkBack on Android);
  • colour contrast that stays legible in both light and dark themes, and no meaning carried by colour alone;
  • touch targets large enough to hit reliably, and full keyboard navigation on the web;
  • respect for reduced-motion and reduced-transparency settings;
  • audio playback for study material through the speech feature, so text can be listened to rather than read.

2. Where we are today

We have not yet completed a formal accessibility audit. No screen has been tested against a conformance standard, and no screen reader run has been done end to end. What exists today comes from building on the platforms' own components, which carry their standard accessibility behaviour, and from fixing individual barriers as users report them.

We would rather say that plainly than claim a conformance level we have not verified. As parts of the app are audited and fixed, this section is updated with what has been checked and what is still outstanding.

3. Tell us about a barrier

If any part of QuizNeu is hard or impossible for you to use, you can reach us two ways:

  • Help & Support inside the app — open a request and say it is about accessibility. We suggest this route: the exchange stays in the app as a conversation, you can attach a screenshot, you get a notification when we reply, and the request does not get lost.
  • Email — write to support@quizneu.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. This option will always stay open: if the barrier stopping you is the app itself, you should not have to use that app to reach us.

Please include what you can of:

  • what you were trying to do, and what stopped you;
  • the screen or page (a screenshot or the URL helps);
  • your device, operating system version and app version;
  • any assistive technology you use — screen reader, magnifier, switch control, voice control.

We treat these reports as bugs, not suggestions. We acknowledge them promptly, tell you whether we can fix it and roughly when, and let you know when it ships. If a fix will take time, we will try to describe a workaround.

This address is also the accessibility feedback channel where the law requires us to provide one.

4. Content created by other users

Study material published by other users is their content. We cannot guarantee that a set someone else wrote uses clear language, describes its images, or avoids relying on colour. Report content that is inaccessible in a way that looks deliberate, and use the app's own tools — speech playback, text size, theme — to adapt what you are studying.

5. Third parties

Some parts of the experience come from other companies — the app stores, the sign-in providers, the speech and translation services. Their accessibility is theirs to state; we choose providers that support platform accessibility features, and we will pass on a report that belongs to one of them.

6. Contact

Help & Support inside the app, or support@quizneu.com — accessibility feedback, and any request for study material in a different format.
